What caused this at where arrows are pointing and why wasn't FG affected by MD? CA of AMERICA & NT of CENT was.

It's a slight MAD on the obverse best I can tell, which may have some bearing on the shift in the strike on the reverse (no idea), but your pic of the reverse Memorial is very interesting to me. Especially the outside of the column. I'm looking at this on my phone right now but it caught my attention.

Looks like MD on that edge. With the wear through of the plating, this coin is pretty much a spender. (even if there were something there)

FG not effected by MD because they are not as "deep" of a device compared to the memorial building or AMERICA.....just my guess
