Hi, First time I have posted anything, glad their is a community like this.

We were looking through a Great Aunts Wheat penny collection, and came across this one and I just wasn't sure if there any information on it. The last digit appears to either be gone or not correct. I dont know if the pictures do it justice but there looks like a printed D off balanced and slanted in the place of the last digit. If anyone has any thoughts, would love to hear them.

to CCF. Not an error, it is PMD. Damage from a vending machine like a Gumball Machine.

We see two to three examples of these monthly. Love those old school vending machines.

I remember even getting peanuts/cashews/other items from these machines besides the gumballs.
