Interesting coin of the day - this was not listed on Cud's on coins that I could find. What is it called where the bottom looks shredded? You guys have been such a big help with my learning curve. I truly appreciate everyone's time and expertise!

The extra material near the rim under the Liberty, would that be a die chip and not a Cud. From what I see the rim is intact and I thought that Cuds always affect the rim because the edge of the die fell away..

Seeing all lamination and no die chipping. The part along the rim below the LI of LIBERTY is a laminate peel that included a bit of the rim that has settled in a bit to the east.

Thanks, Good explanation of that area I pointed out. Looking at it I can now see the roll of the lam layered over itself.
