Appears to be a Pre-Cud on Reverse near America? The plating appears to be raised after the strike. Any thoughts? Thanks.

The line looks incuse. I don't think it's a Cud, it's likely something else.

No not a Cud, the die didn't completely break off yet. Maybe we need a nice in focus close-up of the anomaly with the lighting off to the side a bit to create a mild shadow on the devices and the item of interest to see if it is raised or incuse.

Suggestions:
1. Try a toothpick on that area to see if it is possible grease on that area. If so, take an after image to add to my files. No premium for this but have seen it a few times.

2. Is the edge dented in on that area? (Like a coin toss looser that hit the pavement?)

3. Is that area the same height as the rim. (Like a dropped die error, that made the area rise like a Cud, but not as tall as a Cud?

If not any of these suggestions. 4. Try taking images at different angles. It might just be a stain on that area of the coin?

Coop, yes, I would say like number 3 that you listed. The height of the plating is the same as the rim. The plating appears to be pushed from the rim to the letter A in America but the rim area doesn't exhibit any type of of damage.
