I've been saving a 1967 Lincoln Cent that has been flawed in the minting process. There is a copper "flake" stamped over the "7" in the date. Is this rare? Valuable? Picture attached.

GCP,

You would probably get more hits on this if it were in the "Error" Forum. Sure looks like a lamination error. There's not to much of a premium for this type error, but they are nice to have in the collection.

GCP, to CCF,
with SeatedNut but the lamination is a decent size,the ones I find are a lot smaller.
I am sure you will learn a lot on this great forum.

Judging from the photo, it looks like a lamination to me. You might enjoy reading this post on lamination errors.
I hear they're relatively common for this year, but all the same I like the position on your coin.

Lamination peel. A 'lamination' has the piece gone. Lamination peels are more interesting.
