The 1969-S DDO is the king jewel of variety collecting, so it would be far more obvious to see. Report this Post to the Staff

coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 03/31/2021 11:10 am Machine was very common that year. Also because of the rare DDO, every one wants to think they had one. Lot of false DDO's with Machine Doubling were submitted to PCGS. All were attributed as normal. (133 of these were submitted) PCGS made out like a bandit. This was one of them. All a look hard at the date, but the Liberty and motto is where they really should have been looking: In fact even the big DDO, had a lot of them with Machine Doubling also: Note the hub doubling on these 4 coins, then note the yellow arrows. That is where the MD happened, after the strike. Report this Post to the Staff
