Hello, Looking at a few Salt River Bay quarters and was wondering what this is above the JFM. It appears to be the top left portions of the F and M on the Northwest corner of the lettering. Additionally, if it is a variety, what is an appropriate value?

Well need to see a wider shot than that. It like looking through a toilet paper roll and trying to describe the whole world. Just can't see it all in that image. It could fading die scratches, finger prints or anything else.

Yes, a better array of photos is needed, please. Sharp, large images of the coin's obverse and reverse would be most welcome. Use diffused lighting to cut down on glare.
