ebay item number:224327393323

30 Proof Washington quarters selling for $70.00.

that works out to $2.33 each. They would end up in my Dansco quarter album for the proof holes.

thanks hfjacinto,
I was leaning that way. So far I almost fell over. can't tell if they are perfect proofs or not, but proofs nonetheless. I think they will like their new home in my album (which will fill all the empty holes in it..
Rest in Peace

I'm not a collector of modern day proof Quarters , but if you want to start to build a set of them , then go right ahead . Good price but be weary of his out of focus photos .

I collect much older material so take this for what it's worth...

My thoughts are:

#1 unless they PR69 or 70 are they even worth $2.**+ ?
(I honestly don't know)

#2 every PR is issued as collector grade / mint pack (ie; granny candy) and everyone keeps them thinking they have something special, when in fact it's just a higher than normal grade - but so is every other PR.(supply vs demand)

#3 seller listed with horrible pictures, to me that says "sure they are PR, but are they top tier PR?" probably not.

If they are for your album, and you are happy with the price, then it's your money and decision.

I never buy when it isn't the exact coins you will be purchasing. Got some real dogs buying from a stock picture with "More than X Available". That's just me though - others may have better luck with that.

Thanks all for your input. I'm not crazy about the images the seller put up. That is the reason I asked for advice here. I think I will take a chance on them. if they are extremely crappy, I'll just complain and send them back.
On a positive note the seller does have 100% positive feedback with almost 13K comments.

Bear in mind that the seller is shipping free at his expense, getting charged crazy ebay fees and Paypal takes a chunk. Can't knock the price if ya need them to fill holes.
