I cherrypicked this one as I was thinking $40 including shipping for a pretty nice coin was a good price. I'm not sure these are terribly popular, but it'll go in the collection. I know I have an FS-402 but wasn't sure if I had one of these or not. Honestly not sure how to file it so I could find it quickly as it doesn't fit neatly into any particular category in my filing system. I certainly don't have a "re-engraved die" section, and not a DDO, DDR, RPM or normal error type. 1953 proof Lincoln Wheat cent re-engraved die - FS-401   |

I haven't seen this before. Are there pictures before it was re-engraved so I know what to look for? thanks

It is the front of the laple under the 1. (There are 2 re-engraved dies for the year.) I believe this FS-401 is the more difficult one to find so congratulations. Here's TB's image with an arrow.  Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.

Thanks folks! And I also believe FS-401 is the harder of the two to find. Mr. Pocketses, that is an excellent arrow and a worthy addition to the thread. Should have thought of doing that.
