Agree--post strike damage, which may have involved 'liquid' environmental agents. Perhaps spent some time in moist soil.

No matter the way or how, bottom line is still the same, post mint damage. It didn't leave the mint looking like that.

looks like to me someone put glue on the coin then dipped it into the dirt. Note the outline of where the glue ended on the reverse? Also on the obverse as well. Probably a lot of the issues would go away with a acetone bath?

Idk what that green stuff is, it was on multiple coins from a few different rolls..

Water turns copper green if left on it for a time. Moisture in the air makes the Statue of Liberty green. Water around copper makes them turn.
