Very nice find....no need to worry about DDs vs. DDD on that cent (regarding earlier post)..... 2x2 worthy

Edited: notice the lack of a formed rim opposite the clip..

I don't like the clip area BUT there does seem to be a Blakesley Effect.
So for now I'll call it a legit clip.

And I try to wash, and thoroughly dry my hands a few times while sorting. Good for me and the coins!

? Well in a box of wheats that I bought. As I go through them though I can tell you IF they were previously gone through, it wasn't well. I've got 3 1909 pennies thus far and about 30 1943s. Sadly all steel.

In essence, the side opposite the clip also has an affected edge as there is no balance to the coin at strike.
