I'm seeing MD on the bottoms of the EPU on UNUM. I'm not seeing a
DDO at all. The edges of the devices, maybe miss leading you, with the angle of your light source you are using. Instead of seeing the tops of the devices, you are seeing reflection off the sides of the devices, and on the tops of the devices, making it look like something is there, when there isn't. Note on 'IN GOD' the light source is on the left, and I think I see MD on the opposite side of the device. So all I'm seeing a normal sized device with slight
Machine Doubling. On a
DDO on that area, the devices should be enlarged:

Note the devices on the 2018 that show a doubled die on the several areas of the obverse. But note that all the devices, remind me of over inflated bike tubes. Note how some are enlarged and some are slightly distorted. That is what we need to find. The searching the center of the devices to find enlarged ones, and stop looking at devices, that are normal sized and find
Machine Doubling on them. If it is a doubled die, it should jump out and say
TADA! When we
don't see that, that is when we need to move on to another coin. Stop looking for something, that is not there. Enlarged a good thing, but seeing normal sized devices, why keep looking. They are not going to change. All you will find taking more time on this coin is to find more
Machine Doubling. So move on to the next coin. Not all of the coins are doubled dies. On dies that are created with a doubled die, you will find a doubled die coin. On a normal die coin, you will find a normal coin.
What to look for? Side by sides to see what I mean by enlarged devices notice these:

Now comes the harder part. Sometimes on part of LIBERTY will be looking similar. The tough part is to take you coin and compare it with the set of
DDO's in front of you:

These are all different attributed dies, slight differences that you have to look at, and discern does it match with the example in your hand. This is how tedious it can get.
So when you notice that the devices are normal in size, move on to the next coin. When you note something looks like the examples above, set it aside to keep it for another look later on. Then move on to the next coin. This should take just a few seconds per coin. Worry later about which die it is or isn't. Searching will train your eyes. Keeping your eyes studying the design will speed up the process. Normal, move on to the next one. Don't stop and keep checking each all areas that may not even have a doubled die. Get you eyes trained on what to be seeing. Yes or no, then move on to the next coin. This trains your eyes for what to look for, and what has nothing of interest. That is the best way to work. Create a stack of coins to look at later in batches for another time.
