Greetings!

I have a 1927 S that appears S/S (i.e., VAM4). It was previously graded as MS 66 by a less-than-stellar TPG that is no longer with us. Fortunately, I paid nowhere near the $50-60K that an MS 66 is currently worth to a true TPG. However, this is undoubtedly a coin of high grade. I would appreciate opinions on grades since it is time to sell it after holding it several decades!

Thanks for the help.

The field is much clearer than my photos show. My photos make it look grainy and that is not the case. Luster abounds. The detail is incredibly sharp in many places. I tried adjusting the lighting and maybe it helped?

Sharper pics will be needed to grade accurately. Looks mid AU.

too much glare and small photos make it difficult to assess the surfaces. from these photos the coin appears to be AU53/55. the surfaces do not look original.

If it's mint state, it's not possible to grade with these pics.
