I just saw this online and the pictures aren't the greatest. It looks kind of like a micro o to me. Is it worth obtaining this one for a collection?

Not my area of expertise, but it looks good to me. Is the price right?

It does look like a micro o but the mm position doesn't seem to be a match to any of the VAMs.
Only VAM-31 has that date position.

I think I will risk it for the biscuit and see what it looks like in hand. It's very reasonably priced at about 3x the value of the silver content including shipping. So wouldn't be a major upset if it wasn't a micro o. I think I will get it just out of curiosity and see what it looks like in person. Based on these pics the mm is hard to makeout, but it looks slightly tilted to the right so it could be a possible VAM 31. Only way to see if better I guess would be to purchase it.

If the price is right for a non micro o go for it. You can't win if you don't play....

It was $63.75 including shipping. So priced about right for a regular 1899-O. I guess we will see what she looks like when she arrives on April 12th. I will update this thread with new pics once I have it in hand!

Finally received it and at a distance it does look tiny, but under a microscope it looks like a normal o. Oh well, no real loss. It's still a really nice Morgan for my book!

Bummer, that would have been an exceptional Micro o in that condition...
