Going through an old buy from last year noticed this interesting
Raised die line on the reverse .
I only bought the coin because it was colourful and inexpensive .

That looks like a scratch on the coin that pushed a bit of metal. I'm seeing it on the O but not in the adjacent field.

Nice color, though!

A box cutter will leave this type of mark.

My thoughts exactly. Looks like the cut was made left to right based on the gaps next to the O.

Exactly where a die gouge shouldn't be, correct? Even if whatever made the gouge dipped into the devices, it would still show on the fields around them.

I vote box cutter. You can see a thin line between the pushed up metal. But obviously done many years ago given the consistent toning.

Seems like a feasible explanation. As already stated: There is a thin dark line visible, in the first picture, in certain areas of the "raised" line, possibly the actual cut into the surface. The rest of the line may be the metal (pushed up from the razor cut) folded back over and covering the cut making it seem like a raised line. (?)

I too vote box cutter. I've been fooled with very deceptive cuts like this in the past. Unless another exactly the same turns up it can't be proven it's a die gouge. Always need a second example to confirm a new variety.
