I stumbled upon this 50 dollar bill. I looked up 2009 50 value and it said $125 in ms-62. So that made me want to see how you would grade it. I do understand that the crease will take most of the value away.

Yep. Just a $50 bill, nothing special.

Uncirculated (uncertified) seem to be selling for between $65 and $85...which is probably a decent bit higher than pre-covid and pre-stimulus checks. $125 may be a retail price for a note in a PCGS/PMG holder. Circulated examples like yours seem to be selling between $52 and $65. Basically, your fees are covered but your aren't making any profit. Probably a spender for me, but you could always put it on ebay and see if you can make a few dollars. I'm endlessly amazed at what some people will pay a premium for this past year.

Yeah, not worth trying to sell it, at least not in my book.

HOWEVER; that is by far my favorite U.S. note since the 1935A emergency silver certificates. I never tire of seeing it; many thanks for sharing.

By the photos, it looks to be in the XF range. It's from a huge 3.2M note print run. Most, not all, modern star note collectors prefer uncirculated examples, especially in the higher denominations. I have one from earlier in the same print run.
