I'm trying to figure out what's happening in the 6th picture? They look like they're being (squeezed out?)
The 6th picture is a lot clearer than this one.

Collar Die Clash? Not sure.... With the slightly raised and separated rim from the minor MAD, I'm thinking the strike may have impregnated the raised metal on the rim into the coin. Just my theory here...
