Bought this as an upgrade and cost me $12.50. Neither the obverse nor the reverse doubled dies are terribly strong, but it's a double variety and in good shape.

I'd call this a very respectable DDR. The doubled eyelid is pretty visible.

Thanks folks! And Frog I believe you joined my club and went batty long ago. As for the eyelid, I agree, it's odd. Looks more like a die gouge to me but Dr. Wiles was really picky about any doubled eyelids I sent him canning them as die pitting or for other reasons. I gotta believe he, and the other attributors, see this as a DDO.

I see it listed on Wexler as WDDO-016 and WDDR-012. At least I think it is.

Very nice coin TB. I definitely see the DDR. And I'd also think the eyelid was something other than a DDO. But guess that is why I'm on this side of the attribution process.
