Not unusual. It is caused by overpolishing the die.
If you notice, the supports of the roof are missing also. It is sometimes called a "Floating Roof".
They are pretty common as they can appear on any year of the Memorial cent so not much extra value to it.

I would like to see a full coin image of the obverse much closer and larger. It looks like there is a trace of the initials on the full coin image provided.

On the last image, you can see why he took it at the first angle. The 'FG' is still seen on the last image. They are common die over polishing issue.
