Whats up whats up whats up everybody! Hope everyone is having a good day, night, morning, evening or whatever it is for you right now. So here is a picture of a 1960 D Penny I just found, I've only been "coin crashing"(that's a term I'm trying to...coin) for about a month now but I'm really into it so I'm trying to be thorough. The E in LIBERTY stuck out to me right away it really looks like either the E was pressed wrong somehow or some type of error was made idk but if you can help me make "cents" of it I would really appreciate it. Whatever day it is, Make it a good one!

The E has taken a hit pushing the metal to the left making it look like an L.
Not an error, considered damage to the coin.

Greasy Fingers beat me to it but same answer.

with all of the above, post mint damage ( PMD). Damage as a result of a blow to the lettering. Keep searching!

Agree with the above. The E took a lateral hit--moved metal to form a 'bar' which might look like a leaning L.
