Looks like a scratch to me, not feeder finger related.

If it were a die scratch/die crack there would have been more examples in the OBW roll. As already mentioned, the mark on the 'I' is seen on image #3. So it is a coin scratch.

It's hard to photograph but it looks incuse and not a single line but parallel lines. Also looks like it stops short of the "I".

They will be parallel, but cause the is a trench in the center and the metal has to go somewhere, so it heaps at the outside edges:
