@still, first welcome to CCF. Second, when I enlarge, brighten, and enhance your pic, it looks like the rim might be down into the inscriptions on this cent. Is that right? If so, that sometimes happens when coins are caught in industrial driers and other rotary machinery (so-called Dryer Coins). That would not be a mint error though.

Or was in a "Good Luck"/ bezel coin holder.
