 Why do you not think this is post mint damage? This is 100% PMD. This Lincoln has taken a beating and has an Elephant's trunk to show for it.... LOL. |

The photos are somewhat soft--not sharp. Given the images posted, I'm seeing lots of post strike damage--strong hint of 'road rash'. The coin (minted in Philadelphia--no P) didn't leave the striking chamber in that condition.

Thank you. Every one is a comedian these days. &  & . Just seemed like it could have been something from the print due to the way the elephant trunk was gouged in. |
