This is a brass colored 1982 large date zinc (2.5 gm's) which is one of the better examples I have seen from circulation. The obverse lettering in the motto and liberty is thicker than normal and appears to have minor doubling (hopefully not mechanical) especially in liberty. Sorry about the two large pics of the obverse & reverse as my camera stand won't extend for full pics. I also have an automatic gain function I cannot defeat so bright objects are a problem. I adjust the source light for best pics. Let me know your thoughts. Regards

Very slight MD on the Liberty. But do you know why this coin is a keeper? It is an EDS coin. Just a few of these were struck from this very fresh die.

Probably in the 6% range of strikes. Note how fresh the devices are on this coin. What a gem.

Thick letters and date are normal for that year.

Can you put a block (or something) under the stand raising it up enough for full pictures?

The stand consist of a back vertical shaft toothed, with a gear assembly that the camera is attached too so I can focus the camera. the viewing platform has the vertical shaft attached by screws but you can't elevate it to extend the viewing height because you cannot see through the viewing platform. I would need an extension of the vertical toothed shaft about 1.5 inches. The setup is very stable and its great for most pictures. Got a AGC problem too! Live and learn!

I'm guessing you can't take a photo of your set up? If you can, maybe someone here can give you some pointers? Just trying to help you out...

HiHiHi, I had same problem with a camera. My wife was funny: She say : Why do not attach 2 or 3 hooks on the sealing? like this you has the perfect side?

My answer was: If I fall? you take me to emergency or just cash the insurance?

allcoinsaregood,
On your stand, you might be able to put part the goes up and down for adjusting the height backwards and then put a weight on the platform so it does not tip over. Then stack books under the platform until you reach the proper height.

Love my rewards Coop! As you don't know, I spent 50 years in broadcast electronics dealing with many cameras, some on stands we used as key camera's for graphics! I am constantly admused with my Chinese CCD (single chip) camera that cost 125.00 US dollars using high definition for pics I shoot. Yahoo fun & games. Regards to all.

When I bought my first camera, the one I wanted was $900 dollars. Years later I bought three of them from a school I got three of the same camera for $9.99 Shipped for about $15. I've still got two I've never unwrapped yet. But they are old school. But will work for what I need.
