I posted earlier today about being able to identify split serifs and notching! Here is another try!

This is a 1982P Large Date Zinc and I need your input!

I was changing the angle of the lighting as it hit coin facing me UPRIGHT.

I had to rotate the pictures because I took them sideways, but is this split serifs and separation lines or nothing special?

Very strange - But I'd say the symptoms of a worn die - I don't know why but have seen it before - Will wait for others to verify......... or learn me another problem.

The devices are are normal in size, just some slight Machine Doubling.

To me it looks like MD and DDD and light induced doubling. You need to filter your light source.
