I found this little old Lincoln today and I didn't see anything on cudsoncoins, so here I am. I found some very similar die breaks to the one at 9 o'clock, but nothing for the one at 2-3 o'clock.

Is that considered a die chip or a RIDB? John1

Not a Cud as rim involvement is a requirement for that. Looks like a couple die chips on the wheat stalks to me.

Yes, classic die chips--very cool one on the right stalk, perhaps nudging up to the die break threshold. Haven't seen many like that.

What is RIDB? It is not in the glossary.

Thanks guys! I'm pleased with this one as I wasn't even looking for it, just happened to catch it while looking at some lams.

I agree, die chips. Especially like the large one on the right stalk as ijn1944 mentioned.

Perhaps if we reply more often to relative topics we can educate better. No, you guys do that already!!!! What the heck.

I apologize, I just got a little frustrated with all the repeated posts asking the same things.

You did a C&P on that answer to me too FYI.
This is a place of discussion of education. There will always be newby questions and we're always happy to discuss them. People also like to share their specific coins and get affirmation. It takes a long time to learn about errors and the most useful answers you can read are ones about your own coins that you can see in hand.

Thank you! I try to be mindful of what Bobby said about not scaring away the new collectors and making this a safe space for all questions, but I also want you, Vestige Wolf to feel respected. We obviously need people with expertise and knowledge here and I'm not ungrateful for your contributions either.
