As strong as this DDR is, it should be a no-brainer to attribute it. But the clear and obvious die scratches on this one match nothing listed that I could find. Pretty sure it's just an unlisted die state for DDR-007, as the doubling matches that one pretty nicely.

Another one to submit to CONECA. I really need to get back on their thing and see if they have such things figured out yet. Since first trying and failing to get something listed I have added 37 coins to the drawer of unlisted doubled dies and new die states of known ones.

Another nice find. Congrats.

I really enjoy the super thick devices on the late 30's varieties but it can be tough to attribute them since there are so many.

Is the second dot (near UNUM) on your coin as large as the DDO-007?

Yeah, second dots are DDR-007 size and it falls into the extreme extra thickness category. But 002 and 007 both do so kinda had to look at things pretty closely as well as figure out whether it even could be 002 given that the known obverse die markers and stages don't seem a reasonable fit with what's on here, or not on here such as the wrong die crack at VDB. Pretty sure it has to be 007.

One I picked a few months back. 007 but reverse doesn't show the die scratches. I think your example is far nicer, to be fair.

The reason I asked is that the V.V example shows the dots the same size:

On your image the dot the right looks shorter than the left dot?
