Poll Question
My wife picked up a few of the new TusKate Airmen quarters within a week after they came out. One of them on the reverse is different. On the left arm there are what looks like buttons on the sleeve. The others do not. We have not seen another like it in every pic we have seen. Any ideas?

IMO....PSD (post strike damage) most likely that area was hit by the reeded edge of another quarter falling onto it. No added value..

@rob, first welcome to CCF. Second, while your pics are a bit out of focus, I agree with @greasy that this looks like damaged rather than a mint error.

Just happened to hit that area. Or someone altered it with a punch. (But the final event is the same, a damaged coin. Not a mint error)

I appreciate your comments and I thought it might have been something like that. We are new at this. I uploaded a couple clearer pics.

Notice the pushed metal around the holes? I agree it is post mint damage. Sorry! Someone is wanting attention in a forum like this!

No poll needed, the coin was hit by the edge of another coin with a reeded edge.
