I've seen and read where LWC's have a common bulk price of .03-.05.
Is there a common bulk price for readable date Buffalo nickels?
Curious?

I guess that would depend on the condition of the whole coin . Just readable dates ,very worn and beat up . Or AG-03 to G-06 . I think an all around bulk price should be around $1.00-$2.00 each for common dates depending on where you buy them from .

Agree, condition dependent and source dependent, and of course market demand. A check of ebay sold data on bulk Buffalo nickels would be interesting.

I was actually thinking about selling mine...have a couple of rolls (maybe 5) and I think because my collection is so spread out...I don't even look at them along with a couple of partial books started. I'm thinking instead of having them to have...maybe sell them to someone who has an interest in them and let them enjoy them?

Might just list it all as one lot on here as a 1 week best offer auction and see who wants them that way?

Thanks for taking the time to reply!

My local coin store sells me dateless nickels for 10 cents each and full date for 50 cents each.

For common 20s and 30s full-date coins in average circulated (AG-VG) condition, I'd expect to pay around $15 to $20 a roll (buying at retail.)

You will do best listing them on an auction site or here on CCF. Dealers will not usually be able to offer you much unless there are better dates, better condition coins, or similar circumstances.

I have a couple of rolls of average circ. full date 30s Buffs I keep around and occasionally I'll slip a couple into the mix when I pay for something in cash. Gets people interested in the hobby and helps keep a classic design in circulation just a bit longer.
