Does anyone know where I can purchase bags of "no date" Buffalo nickels at a good price? I'm looking for at least 1000 coins. There were a few sellers who were selling bags of 1000, 4000, and 10,000 some years ago Plmk, Tony

What do you consider a good price?

Tonyd21266 to CCF! I don't know any from the top of my head. Easiest place to buy would be ebay. Maybe you can check local coin shops and shows and ask around locally, if that is available. Wow, someone selling a lot of 10,000! There must be some goodies and hidden gems in there. Just out of curiosity, what are you going to purchase them for? I am saving all of the ND Buffalos I get for a Mills vest pocket slot machine that I will buy one day...

I suspect that many dealers have a lot of them and don't know what to do with them as they are probably poor sellers.

Thanks for the replies! I'm restoring a few old slots. I already checked that out and I was quoted a price a lot less from our coinshop. Is there a going rate per coin and per bags in bulk?

Quote: Is there a going rate per coin and per bags in bulk? Collectors like to purchase the dateless buffs in bulk to search for key dates with a chemical like Nic-A-Date to restore the date. The chemical does leave a stain on the coin. Searched or un-searched dateless buffs could also be a factor on price.
