Possibly a filled die error with the other die errors. What does everyone think?

The reverse side appears fine. Two more photos for the conversation. Appreciate any feedback!

So within the "in god we...." photo I'm thinking just PSD (post strike damage) looks like it was struck by several other reeded edge coins. On your first photo that's either wear or a Slight Struck Through Grease error...either way that quarter for me would be a spender..

to CCF good luck on future finds, have fun and keep asking when needed...

Thanks for the feedback and moving this topic to the correct forum!

The unique thing I notice with the legend is there is no noticeable scratches, or drag marks, that would indicate another object scrapping against the coin. The reason I say this is the rim is not damaged, which I think would occur to some degree if scrapping against another object caused this.

I also have a 2005 P Kansas KS State Quarter - In God We Rust error and the characteristics are very similar under the microscope.

Thanks again!

But keep in mind the 'Salt River Bay' is incuse. So the surfaces would show the contact. I see something on that area that would indicate a contact event. (It is real hard to damage incuse devices:

It takes a hard hit from a rim to do it.
On your coin I see an incuse mark on the 'S' and 'I' area on those devices.
