I submit 13 pics of a 1999 D which matches pics of this reverse DDR-003 shown on Copper Coins for this year. Coin is bright with carbon spots so hard to photograph. Looking for your thoughts! Regards.

Thanks for the comeback. Sorry about the number of photos but I was trying to reference Copper Coins about the DDR.

with John1, no evidence of a DDR. A good sharp photo of the obverse and the reverse, and a couple of photos where you see doubling is a we need. Thank you in advance.

It is part of the Machine Doubling theme. It is like a slight die movement, that only affected that area. If you find one of these is a OBW roll, then look at the other examples from the same run. You might see it being slightly different from strike to strike. But you need to find these in a roll/rolls from a run, for these to be sure that they are part of a die run. So next time you spot these in a OBW roll, look for the this. (It doesn't happen often, but there is not premium for this)

To all: As a general rule, one full coin pic of the obverse and one full coin pic of the reverse. One or two close ups when and where needed. If we need any more pics we will ask.
