Feeder fingers? All different directions?

Sorry for so many pictures. Had to show where they're located.

I'm sure RobO411 knew it is a Jefferson nickel, we all have momentary lapses. I wasn't brought up the States, but know (some) presidents, especially those on U.S. coins. No biggie.

Mostly die flow lines and the die devices are Deteriorating. Not a plus for the coin, just showing the aging of a worn die. The die flow lines are caused by the movement of the metal when the planchet is turned into a coin. The constant moving of metal against metal, causing theses lines that start slowly and through hundreds of thousands of strike, the wear pattern is always the same. Moving the metal towards the rims. Thus the straight lines in that direction. Just how a die eventually ends its life, doing the same motion, over and over. Growing older as the coins continue to be struck.

Looks like the obverse die sneezed right as it came down.
