Just found this while going through a big pile of coins that a friend let me hunt. Has what appears to be a split serif at the top of the D and the bottom of the rotated first D barely visible jutting out along the bottom edge. Hard to be certain though because the die is fairly worn making everything look a little smudgy.

Three listed on V.V and your coin is not a RPM.

Why? Because there is no spread. Note on the RPM-001:

While it looks like yours, what is missing on yours that this one has? It is a North. You coin doesn't have a PM on it. The other two are in other directions. Probably what cause the RPM-001 and your coin to look alike is extreme die wear. (which is not a RPM, but an aging die) So you have an example from an aging die.

I'm confused, Coop, I don't think mine looks like RPM-001 at all, and I said in the post it wasn't listed on VV. I am also skeptical and suspect it may indeed be Die Deterioration, but I'm afraid I'm not following your argument.

The die condition of aging is the same. Not a match for the RPM, just the same die state. Yours is not a RPM. But I wanted better images to be sure it was MD or coin damage. Just to confirm the decision.
