If you are looking at the outsides of the devices, you are searching for Machine Doubling. A doubled die in n the center of the devices.

Look at the centers of the devices for the spread/enlargment there. You are looking to hard for something that is not there. Either the devices are enlarged, or you move on to the next coin.

On your coin, there is die wear, making the devices longer. But that is die wear not a doubled die.

Note on the above devices. Note they are wider than yours. Again look at the centers of the devices, not on the outside edges of devices.

You are still looking at the outside edges of the devices. Centers of the devices.

Are you seeing the spread on the centers of these devices? It is where the hub created a second set of devices on the same devices that were there. Your coin is not showing spread. Just die wear.

This is something I can only learn through trial and error and a lot of beating my head against a wall. I know it doesn't happen overnight so please forgive me. I want to be able to decipher between all possible aspects more than you are hoping I will. Lol. Thanks for taking the time to explain ;-)

Id say mid-VF grade at the highest, and typical circulation dings and scratches... A nicely circulated slightly better date, minted at San Francisco.

Hang in there! I still have a great deal of trouble with those that are not obvious. It takes time and good examples. I look at sites often to help train my eyes.
