Hi, I was searching my inventory looking for full steps when I came upon the Letter "t" for trust. Its not normal, Was the damage to the coin on the reverse done at the mint?
Thanks in advance.

Guessing the letter was altered slightly by a circulation hit.

Reverse is a circulation hit, T of trust seems to be showing Die Deterioration. Neither would add any value.

The T shows Die Deterioration and the larger issue may possibly be a post-strike lamination peel, but I can't quite tell from the pics. A closeup of that area out of the 2x2 may help and it would also be underweight if it is a lamination peel.

Sorry, but the coin condom is glaring, but it looks like damage to the edge of the coin. Note the area on the outside edge of the coin, it looks like the metal moved in that direction? But it could be a lamination issue, because the coin has silver in it and these can have laminations. The 'BUS and U' edge doesn't show a wave, so it might be a lamination. The coin should be underweight if it is a lamination error. If the coin is the normal 5 grams, then it is damaged.

What concerns me most is that on the incuse area of the coin, I don't see any ghost images? On a lamination error you see these faint lines where the top of the lamination peels and leaves the ghost:

Did you get a weight yet?
