I was looking at some 100th Anniversary of the RCM mint sets, and I liked them. But at that price I figured() I could put together a set of originals at a decent grade.

This is the first coin I got in the attempt at a set, and will try to get the other coins in a similar grade. Previously I cared little for grade and bought what I liked. But putting together a set looks better at all the same grade... n'est pas? So, I will purchase further coins at the grade given to me here. I paid a $1.15 for this coin.

I will see if I can find a useable pix of the modern set... sure would like the new collector box though.

Good deal, on the large cent, $1.15, as for grade I would say F-15, King's band wore, high points also wore some.

Very good, very good.
I have the 2006 Charlton, so I can look up value with more confidence.
I would attempt a grade cuz I been reading on the subject, but an experienced opinion is most helpful for comparison.
Much appreciated quick reply. Thank you... so I can get started
