Awesome set, congratulations. I also started collecting this set, though without gold, but I am still very, very far from you. Once again, congratulations!

Quote: I also started collecting this set, though without gold, but I am still very, very far from you. Once again, congratulations! That set, the Basic U.S. Coin Design Set, No Gold, was the set I worked on for decades, and still have. The coins comprising that set are the "core" of many of my sets, such as the one I just completed and my two PCGS Dansco 7070 sets. Thanks for your kind words and that of all other members above.

Amazing! Great job putting this incredible set together. Not sure how I missed it initially. So, what's next? You going to go for a full 1792-Date Type Set? I can tell you (so far) it's been a very fun challenge to do!

Quote: So, what's next? You going to go for a full 1792-Date Type Set? Well, as the hotlink in my "auto-signature" at the bottom of each of my posts indicates, I've also completed the PCGS Registry Dansco 7070 set. To "keep me busy", I've recently completed a Two Cent business strike set, and I'm in the middle of putting together a Proof Franklin Set, and a Standing Lib Quarter FH DATE set (doing a "date" set allows for me to choose the least expensive branch mint for each date, so the project can potentially be accomplished within my budget and also hopefully while I'm alive). Thanks for your kind words! Steve

and what a set! Congrats on finishing it. Your Two Cent collection is superb as well, reminds me of my own except mine was all 66 and mostly all brown, I had no Red coins in it, though a couple of RB coins found their way in. I built mine before the registry sets were a thing, and sadly sold it off to help take care of my Dad when he was alive and battling Parkinson's. Having so many CAC coins is an extra feather in the cap too! Also thanks for leaving detailed notes in your sets, it makes for a much more enjoyable browse.

Westcoin, thanks for your very kind words (and the same to others above). We all partake in this wonderful hobby, and this Forum is a big part of our education and enjoyment too.
Thanks again.
