I can't see any spread on ONE CENT in my opinion it is because of wear. This is my first DDR of E.P.U. Thanks for looking.

I'm no expert but looks like the real deal to me! Nice find. DDR-OO1 on Variety Vista shows much less spread on "ONE CENT" than on the upper devices. Hope the experts agree!

Will need to go back and rummage through my stash of '64s, again. Very nice.

Yes, very nice. Those spots will effect it. What are that called and how do you get rid of them?

Either carbon spots or verdegris. Both are uncurable to my knowledge.

The sad part is that it looks like an earlier die state.

Excellent find, this is one of my favorite DDRs. Hope to find one myself some time!
@Coop what makes you say EDS? Looks like the FG is almost completely abraided away to my eyes.

Thanks everyone for the responses. I was thinking it is a late die state thinking they polished away the lower cent doubling and like SamCoin is asking the FG is almost gone. I need to get some more acetone to give it a bath to try and stop the carbon spots or verdegris as That Coin Dude said.
Sorry for the late response I was at work.

The flatness of the fields, the fun devices in the images you posted. A weakening of the initials could be from coin contact, or a partial Grease Fill. I'm looking at all the devices on the images. One coin I keep in my collection, as I prefer earlier die state coins. Die States fade quickly like the bloom of youth.
