Although I do not have an error or variety to report on the newest quarter from the US Mint. I wanted to share with my home group how excited I was to see the ever familiar bust of George Washington that has been a staple of US coinage for nearly all of my life. In 1999 the obverse was redesigned and has remained the only constant in the ever changing Statehood and America the Beautiful coins. That change however just never really did it for me. My interest in searching quarters pretty much disappeared. Maybe I just favor the first obverse bust of Washington because its what I grew up with? Maybe thats why I was so excited to get one in change today! Anyway thanks for listening..

Nice find! I just got 2 Airmen quarters from a vending machine the other day, both D mint as well. Hard to believe that I might get my hands on a WCtD before a 2021 Cent.

I havent even seen 2021 coins yet. Not a penny, nickel, dime, or Tuskegee. George is my first BU 2021 from circulation. I havent even seen a 2020 Kansas Tall Grass

It's such a pleasure to see the date on the obverse again
I hope to pull one of those from circulation sometime soon just to see one in person

Laura Gaudin Fraser's obverse is a LOT nicer and will be the obverse in 2022.
I wish they had done an Flanagan obverse and eagle back for one last time before next years major change.

I've received all 2021 Denver coins from change except for a nickel. In regards to the quarter...seeing the date on the obverse made me do a double take and ask why does this look so different...then it hit me Also I've noticed on the cents...far less water/rinse stains...
