I posted this coin earlier in a SG demo, but I have since found more interesting info.

I have learned the mint mark dividing the date stands for Holstein-Glückstadt, an area ruled by Denmark at the time.
Holstein became a member of the German Confederation in 1815 and fell to Prussia in the Prussian-Danish War of 1864.
Comparing to specs given here, my coin is interesting given its reduced weight of 2.91g vs. 3.057g.
However, specific gravity testing suggests the reduced weight is proportional to debased silver content.
While the reference linked above states a silver fineness of .562,
the actual SG result suggests one closer to .200 silverAnother interesting detail is how this coin's legend bears "FRID IV", while most others I've seen have "FRID IIII".
I've read the earlier coins used IIII, so I'm not sure which is more common?
