Hello coin community, it seems like the L in Liberty is missing, would this be considered an error? Does this penny have any value?
Thank you

The missing L is due to a Grease Filled Die. These generally have no value over face unless they are missing a good portion of the coin's details. It is a good idea to always show us both sides of your coins with closeups of areas of interest.

Value is on the back of the coin.

Wow! Look at the crappy texture of the fields - how was that struck?

Surface texture might be from zinc dust trapped between the core and the copper plating.

Looks like it could have possibly been poorly plated which could account
for the rough fields.

Combination of zinc bubbles and Grease Filled Die. Worth 1 cent.
