silver /steel penny 1995
My father told me he looked his up in coun books and found nothing so he thinks it's worthless or fake.
I only noticed it because he dropped it and I instantly thought it was a old steel penny until he told me the year
Was this 1995 stuck on a dime planchet o
? I will add pictures with a real steel penny . Any information or forums I can find out more info would me great.
Thanks

On YouTube there were videos of adding zinc to the coin. Try a magnet and it will not be attracted. So the weight is correct for a zincoln. A steel cent would be heavier. Why spend money to attribute a coin worth one cent?

Acetone does not, repeat does not remove copper. A couple years ago I had a pristine, common copper cent sitting in acetone for two+ months--an experiment. When removed it was still pristine--even under 40X magnification.
