I think she needs a haircut.

She's got purdy toes, don't she?

I have no idea what this beauty is worth, but I have a sneaking suspicion that she is worth more than my yearly income.

Hi Bobby

G-4 Just kidding !!! LOL ,,

I have this problem of under grading these type of coins, My opinion MS-64 possible full head, Shes a beauty !!! I see some familiar strike anomolies on the coin, a bit of weakness in the hair above the eye,and shield and some on the far wing on the reverse.

No major hits but a bit of hairlines, which I'm sure are not as visable in hand, since the pics are large ,,

Type I AU-55
Much mint luster evident and pleasing. Touch of wear on eagle (rev), and shield and head?
grendel,
I don't have a greysheet handy for slqs, but unless I'm missing something, if you hunt you should be able to find one like this for $200 or less.

She's on her way to Anacs (10 day) as we speak. I will certainly post the results.

I did not see any wear on this coin at all. I'm hoping for an MS64 Full Head from ANACS on this one. Not to get away from the family orientation of this forum, but even the nipple is visible under magnification.

Yeah, I do see what looks like wear on the fringes of the feathers, but those aren't the high points (could be the image) and I don't see anything on the knee, maybe a bit on the highest point of the shield. It's a nice strike but the fields are a little scuffy, especially on the reverse. Depends on what kind of the day the graders are having between AU/UNC (bogey on the 18th hole would not be in your favor) but I'm guessing 62 mainly for the strike and luster.

Here's a 64 FH I had once (please forgive the lousy scan through the holder)

So what did yours end up getting?
Rest in Peace

Hi Folks! It came back from ANACS an AU58. One of the best AU58's I have ever seen. The all important "Anatomical" detail was very, very good. It sold for about $285.00, strong money for an AU58. Weak strikes of the sheild are fairly common on this type of coin as Rick pointed out. By the way quarterfan, your coin is a good example of why this one came back an AU! So,at any rate, I guess the graders had a tough day on the links! Mike

Wait a minute, I thought this was Bobby131313's coin? I know I'm new here, you're all messin' around with me aren't you? [:p]

Yes, $285 is awesome for an AU for this coin. Congrats!

Wow... $285 is very strong money for not hitting the MS grade, although it is arguably better than that. Very nice example.
Going back on what Susan said, maybe a FN designation will be soon for a full nipple? ha.

Quarterfan,

Sorry for the confusion. Bobby and I sell coins on consignment and we sell for Mike. This was his coin and we sold it for him.

Given the butt-kicking I've been getting on ebay lately, I'm tempted to go that route myself.
