Guessing this is just severe post-mint damage, probably deliberate. to the CCF!

Thank you coinfrog!I thought, myself, that this coin was awful "busy", if I may use that word to describe it.

Yes, there is a lot going on, but it all looks like post-mint damage to me. From what, exactly, I can't tell.

Looks like it was squeezed twice in a vise with another coin altering the obverse. The sort of semi circles are the rims from the donor coin on to this victim coin. The coin was not treated with care. Showing sever battle scars. Just a Wheat cent now. The flattened areas on the reverse is opposite where the damage happened.

It's a fun curiosity. I'd hang onto it.

I sure do love being a part of this coin community. It, most certainly, is such an incredible gift to have all of you willing and able to help others get a sense of what kind of coin they have. I thank you so much for all of your time, energy, and input. It sure does help me save so much time. That means I get the opportunity to move on to other coins. Your all awesome! Thank you!

Donīt spend them. I keep them all and put them in my ziploc bag of the Wheat cent.
