Well, you achieved a feat that many new ones fail at. Welcome. Your coin, not a mint error. Just a tortured coin. "Don't these coins know better than go in the garage?" Bad stuff happens there.

Nah, no need to pick you apart. This coin is showing Post Mint Damage or PMD. It just a gouge and a ding in the coin along with some heavy friction from something.

Keep reading as much information on errors and varieties as you can, post an image when you have a question and learn about the minting process. Once you have a good understanding of what can and can't happen during the striking process, you'll see that this couldn't have been done at the mint.
ANA ID: 3203813 - CONECA ID: N-5637 Clean a coin that may be worth collecting? Please DON'T! When in doubt, leave it dirty!!

One thing to remember is that it is only an error if it happens during the striking of the coin,
anything that happens after that is just damage.
Looking at your coin, there is no way that could happen at that time so it is Post Minting Damage. ( PMD)

They'd be saying: "Keep your hands off me!" Make an statue, and all they complain about are the birds.

Glad you enjoyed them. The images I edited, the information I edited and the music I created with a music program. On some of the videos the music a bit missing, but on the DVD, it is compete.
