Do any of you see anything special about the ear or the OF on the back?

Ear took a hit and the OF is a common weak spot.

to the CCF!

The weak area on the reverse is common on Lincoln Memorial Cents. That area is opposite the deep area on the obverse where Lincoln's shoulder and chest are located. When the coins were struck, the metal of the planchet flowed into this deep device and left the reverse "S of" letters shallow.

It may have been that the dies were slightly too far apart or the Ram Pressure of the mint press wasn't quite high enough. The press could have been setup incorrectly or it may have started to lose the correct adjustment. This is too common to have any premium above the value of the coin.

Agree with the above. The weak 'Of' is not uncommon with zinc core Lincoln Memorial cents.
