It was plated or painted and subsequently worn.

You've been posting a lot of coins like this. We're happy to help you learn, but if you want to be a better collector, I recommend you read up on the minting process and think critically about whether an "error" could have happened at the mint.

First one I came across with the gold color couldn't find anything online about it does not look like paint though that's why I posted it. Thanks for the advice it is appreciated I work alot so not alot of time to sit and search for hours about it online
