Can someone help me understand if I have something of more than face value? If so, how much?

My old guide book values these at $150, which is pretty darn close. Graded examples, GEM and better bring a little more. Getting them graded would set you back approximately $250, but most likely, worth the added expense. Being consecutive adds little value, if any. The margins look really good. They were printed in Washington DC in February 1988. Please let us know what you decide to do with them.

I have the Dallas Star from the same series.

As cool as they are to have. I'm probably going to sell them. I'm a teller at a bank and sometimes get some pretty cool stuff in.

Unless they come back as less than CU because of a small bend or ding somewhere.
Try shining a light across the note at a very low angle to pick up on imperfections. The note below looks gem in pictures with a light source coming from above, but you can see it isn't when the light hits it at the right angle:

Also be careful selling these on ebay, there have been stories of the seller getting ripped off (saying package was empty).

Let me know if these sell, I love sequential old-styled notes!
