I really find it difficult to tell if the destruction is manmade sometimes

The coin weighs 2.5 grams. I think it is a zinc planchet misstruck on obverse side. On that side is a date and some lettering. I see some doubling on the reverse in lettering and on Lincoln Memorial.

Perhaps this could be chemical damage as well since I don't see any similar examples. (And that seems to be a big clue supporting the PMD likelihood)

Looks like a very thin layer of solder on the coin.
